We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in a restaurant environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the menu and customer preferences Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and work areas Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal preparation and service Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed Implement food safety practices to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety

Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or similar environment Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Previous kitchen experience is essential; culinary qualifications are preferred but not mandatory Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset A passion for creating exceptional dishes that delight guests
