We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests while ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service during busy periods. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance on cooking techniques and food presentation. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served. Help create a positive working environment by fostering teamwork and communication among staff.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent skills in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. A passion for culinary arts and creativity in developing new dishes. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
