Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking pizzas to a high standard, ensuring consistency, quality, and speed of service. This role requires passion for Italian cuisine, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, cook, and present pizzas using fresh dough, sauces, and toppings. Ensure all pizzas are cooked to order and meet quality and presentation standards. Maintain the pizza station, ensuring cleanliness, organisation, and proper stock levels. Prepare dough, sauces, and toppings daily to maintain freshness and flavour. Monitor portion sizes, minimise waste, and contribute to efficient stock management. Work closely with the kitchen team to deliver smooth and timely service. Adhere to food hygiene, safety, and health regulations at all times.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a pizza chef or in a similar role. Knowledge of pizza-making techniques, including dough preparation and cooking methods. Ability to work under pressure during busy service. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Desirable:

Experience with wood-fired or stone ovens. Knowledge of Italian cuisine and ingredients. Creativity in developing new pizza recipes or specials.
