Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals that delight our guests while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the menu and customer preferences Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in cooking techniques and food safety practices

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment Strong culinary skills with an understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively A passion for serving high-quality meals that exceed customer expectations

Pay: 15.00 per hour
