Job Overview

We are looking for the next pizza chef to join our team. You will be required to have at least 6 months experience as a pizza chef. Stretching pizza from scratch will be a non negotiable. We have recently opened our 2nd location and we won 'Leeds Best Takeaway' at the 2025 Oliver awards so we need experienced pizza chefs to help us maintain momentum and high standards in a very fast paced environment.

We have a very relaxed service style and amazing culture within the team so it's vital that any new hire is an asset to the team and the business.

Duties

Prepare and cook a pizza according to established recipes and menu specifications Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques and food safety practices

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation, cooking, and presentation Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills, both verbal and written A passion for cooking and creating exceptional experience through food
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
