We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team and run our pizza offering on the Rooftop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a deep understanding of culinary techniques. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect our commitment to hospitality. This role requires leadership skills and the ability to supervise kitchen staff effectively.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to the menu and customer specifications Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support in food preparation and cooking techniques Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary trends Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking methods, safety protocols, and kitchen procedures Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively A passion for cooking with creativity in menu development and presentation Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
