Duties

Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to the restaurant's menu and standards. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends. Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely meal service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Experiment with new recipes and presentation styles to enhance the dining experience.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation. Excellent cooking skills with the ability to create diverse dishes from various cuisines. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality meals. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay: 16.00-16.50 per hour
