Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety. As a Pizza Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious meals that delight our guests while ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards. Assist in menu planning, including the selection of seasonal ingredients and innovative dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and food safety practices. Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate new techniques into meal preparation.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes. Culinary qualifications or certifications are an advantage but not essential.
