Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate pizza chef to prepare and serve traditional Neapolitan pizzas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Neapolitan pizza preparation and cooking, with the ability to create delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. This role requires a commitment to food safety and hygiene, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Neapolitan pizzas, which you will have an input in designing. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Collaborate to plan menus and ensure timely meal preparation Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety procedures Provide exceptional service by ensuring pizzas are served promptly and presented beautifully

Requirements

Proven experience in making Neapolitan pizzas is required Strong culinary skills with a focus on preparation and traditional techniques Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure A passion for creating high-quality pizzas that delight customers Ability to work collaboratively within a team, as well as independently when required Previous experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous
