Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pizza Chefs to join our culinary team for a new store in Southend-on-sea. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, with a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards while maintaining food safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant's menu and specifications. Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and best practices. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Supervise kitchen staff and provide training on cooking techniques and food preparation methods. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all areas, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Help manage kitchen operations during peak hours, ensuring efficiency and quality in meal preparation.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent culinary skills with the ability to prepare diverse cuisines. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Able to work varied shift patterns between the hours of 10:30am - 3am, Monday to Sunday Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
