Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Pizza Chef to join our team for the Illuminated event in Windsor Great Park. You will be working in our impressive container trailer with a beautiful wood fired pizza oven. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious fresh wood fired pizzas while maintaining the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and organisation.

You will be required to work Tuesday-Sunday, approximately 14:30-22:30, 14th Nov-3rd Jan with Christmas Day off.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality pizza in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests. Engage with guests when necessary, providing exceptional service and responding to any special requests.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment with experience using fresh dough. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.

Contract length: 7 weeks

Pay: 17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 48 per week
