Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook/Assistant to join our vibrant kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen interest in creating delicious pizzas that delight our customers. This role requires a commitment to food safety and quality, ensuring that every meal is prepared to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizza styles, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and managing dough. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Serve pizzas and other menu items to customers when required, providing excellent customer service. Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Qualifications

Previous kitchen experience is essential; experience in a restaurant setting is highly desirable. Strong culinary skills with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in meal preparation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes that satisfy customer expectations.
