Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and navigate through diverse driving conditions.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery van or lorry to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of products during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages encountered during transport.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Experience in warehouse operations is an advantage. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
