Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and culinary techniques, with a particular focus on pizza-making. This role is essential in ensuring that our customers receive high-quality, delicious pizzas made with fresh ingredients. The Pizza Cook will work collaboratively within the kitchen to maintain a clean and efficient workspace while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking to ensure consistency and adherence to safety standards. Help manage inventory by checking stock levels and notifying management when supplies need replenishing. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen operations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar environment, preferably with a focus on pizza or Italian cuisine. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
