Driver & General Help Required for Busy Pizza Trailer Business.

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Pizza Maker & Delivery Driver to join our team for evening shifts. This role combines food preparation with safe and efficient delivery, ensuring our customers receive high-quality service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, experience in delivery driving and experience of working in food preparation would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Prepare fresh, high-quality pizzas according to company recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area during food preparation Safely load pizzas and other food items into delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling Deliver orders promptly to customers while adhering to route schedules Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns professionally Load and unload supplies or equipment as needed, utilizing tools like forklifts or pallet jacks when applicable Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory or supplies, including heavy lifting and manual handling Follow all safety protocols during driving and warehouse activities, including proper operation of manual transmission vehicles and box trucks

Skills

Proven experience in delivery driving, preferably with route driving familiarity Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Valid driver's license or equivalent commercial driving license (CDL) preferred Knowledge of safe driving practices and route planning for efficient deliveries Ability to work independently while managing time effectively during evening shifts

Your function from a Thursday to Saturday evenings will be to ensure that you supply the people of Nuneaton with the quality of pizza that they deserve and have been longing for.

In between deliveries, we would expect you to help out on our pizza truck to help the business flow smoothly.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Temp to perm
Contract length: 1 month

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 12 per week
