Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza maker to join our team in a fast-paced environment. As a Pizza maker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will ensure that every pizza is prepared to perfection, while your ability to work efficiently under pressure will contribute to our restaurant's success.

Duties

Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all food is cooked to the highest standards. Manage food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety guidelines. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha and Micros for order processing and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. Assist in training new staff members on food preparation techniques and restaurant policies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant preferred. Culinary experience with a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient order management. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards in the kitchen environment. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing sales effectively. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality. Experience in food handling, bussing, serving, or other roles within the food industry is a plus. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 10.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week
