to lead our team through the festive season.

Role Overview

As the

Pizza Unit Supervisor

, you will oversee the daily operations of our pizza stall, ensuring smooth service, excellent food quality, and a great customer experience. You'll manage a small team of staff, maintain health and safety standards, and act as the main point of contact for event organisers and Yellow Bus Catering management.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day running of the pizza unit, including setup, service, and close-down. Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service. Ensure all pizzas are prepared and cooked to Yellow Bus Catering's high-quality standards. Manage stock levels, deliveries, and inventory to minimise waste and control costs. Handle card payments, and daily financial reconciliation. Maintain strict compliance with food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety regulations. Liaise with event organisers, security, and festival management when required. Report daily to Yellow Bus Catering management on sales, staffing, and any operational issues.

Essential Requirements

Must be

available between 13th November 2025 and 1st January 2026

supervisory or team leader role

within hospitality, catering, or street food. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service focus and attention to detail. Knowledge of

food hygiene, HACCP, and health & safety procedures

. Ability to work under pressure in a busy, outdoor festival environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Desirable

Experience making pizzas or operating a stone-baked oven. Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene Certificate. First Aid training.
Job Types: Temporary, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 weeks

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week
