40 hours per week Shift pattern/ hours - Monday to Friday Salary tbc Hybrid role but site base is Belfast Sodexo rewards and benefits This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity Must be undertaking a university-level course in Building, Construction, or a related area.


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Officer to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safe operation, installation, maintenance, and repair of multiple M&E services, building fabric, and specialist equipment across a complex portfolio of buildings.


You will assist in coordinating labour (both direct and subcontracted), supporting the delivery of Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance, and Micro Projects, while ensuring accurate and timely reporting in line with client expectations and specifications.



Key Responsibilities

Cover multiple sites dispersed throughout your area Support the delivery of maintenance and project activities within agreed timeframes and budgets Assist in scheduling and attending meetings with internal and external stakeholders Coordinate and manage multiple contractors, ensuring correct documentation for all works Keep accurate records of all activities and assist in reporting requirements Respond to ad-hoc client requests as needed Support budget monitoring and cost management Assist in auditing to maintain service quality Ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory regulations associated with M&E and building fabric systems


Preferred Qualifications & Experience

Enrolled in a HND or equivalent in a relevant subject such as Construction & Built Environment (or similar) Experience with Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations


Essential Qualifications & Skills

Enrolled in a HND or equivalent in a relevant subject (Construction & Built Environment, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) Full valid UK driving license Knowledge and understanding of statutory compliance requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong planning and problem-solving abilities Experience/knowledge of sustainability/environmental ISO and BS standards Experience/knowledge of CAFM / CMMS systems
