Silver Lining Fostering is an Outstanding rated Independent Fostering Agency based in Brentford.
We provide a full range of fostering placements to our foster carers, from short term care to long term care, to more specialist services such as parent and child fostering. Each young person we are asked to find foster carers for is unique and has individual needs, so they match carefully with our foster carers to ensure long-term stability for the foster child. We do not believe in placing a young person with a foster carer just because they have a vacant bedroom.
For us, fostering is not a numbers game, it is about placing the right young person with the right family.
The Placements Officer will respond to placement requests and identify placement and service solutions. In addition, you will develop relationships with Local Authority Placement Teams, promote vacancies, undertake associated administration and contractual functions, to ensure the highest possible standard of appropriate placements for children and young people referred to Our client.
Key responsibilities include:

In most cases this will involve the reading, dissecting, obtaining additional information and screening of child information with the ability to quickly identify needs and risks to enable the safe placements of vulnerable children.
In consultation with the Manager ensure that each child or young person placed is carefully matched with a carer capable of meeting their needs
