Salary range: 40,755 - 43,299 p.a. inc. London weighting


Contract: Permanent


Hours of work: 36 hours per week


Location: Civic centre and other locations from time to time

The Post

We are seeking a Placement Relationship Officer to join our Commissioning Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to shape and enhance relationships with existing community based providers in Brent and drive improvements across the sector.


You will play a key role in:


Supporting the commissioning of services within the community To further ensure that all commissioned provision is meeting required contract standards and outcomes. Undertake contract monitoring with designated providers, identifying quality concerns and working with providers to develop, implement and monitor quality improvement plans, supported by the Supplier Relationship Manager. Understanding supply and demand in the market and helping to grow and shape services accordingly.

The Person

You should have an in-depth understanding of adult social care and be passionate about improving the quality and sustainability of services in Brent.


The ideal candidate will bring:


Experience in commissioning care services, preferably within adult social care. A proven track record in stakeholder engagement, particularly with community based providers Strong skills in quality assurance The ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining a focus on outcomes. Communicating and influencing skills.
