TPT Retirement Solutions are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our Finance team as a Finance Placement Student. If you have the skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to help us achieve our operational priorities and strategic objectives, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Work with and support teams within the Finance function, including Financial Accounting, Commercial Finance, and Pensioner Payroll, to advance operational priorities.
Take ownership of assigned tasks, offer new ideas, collaborate creatively with team members, and deliver projects to tight deadlines.
Assist with monthly reporting by preparing, delivering, and completing monthly management accounts and providing analysis of costs and income.
Help prepare, deliver, and complete annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
Support the sales and purchase ledger team, ensuring invoices are coded and approved accurately.
Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and other key financial controls.
Contribute to daily accounting and administration for contributions and benefits processes.
Support the payroll team with the tax year end process, including data entry and verification.
Skills & Qualifications
:
Studying towards a degree in finance, accounting, administration, or a related field.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate clearly.
Willingness to take initiative and contribute ideas.
Experience of Microsoft Office tools.
Capability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to deadlines.
