We are looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources placement student to join our team specializing in Human Resources for our Engine Business Segment in Darlington, UK. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

This role is hybrid however you\'ll be working onsite 3 or 4 days per week so you will need to be able to travel to the location.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Supporting over 900 employees and managers at the Darlington Engine Plant in customer and business focused support functions.
• Partnering directly with employees and managers on all areas of the people profession \xe2\x80\x93 learning and development, people analytics, talent management and resourcing, employee relations and diversity and inclusion.
• Quickly gain a high level of responsibility on key projects and will gain exposure to senior management and leaders across the organization.
• Coordinating inductions and production schedules.
• Administrating promotions.
• Drafting contracts.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• It is desirable for you to be enrolled on a degree with significant HR content which includes a 12-month industry placement.
• Must have a passion for learning, be able to work inclusively and value people.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude due to direct employee and manager contact and support required.
• High level of confidentiality due to the nature of the work in the HR team.
