About the Role:

We are a leading maintenance contractor specialising in domestic property works, and we're currently seeking an experienced

Planned Works Supervisor

to oversee planned maintenance and refurbishment projects across Sussex.

This is a field-based role requiring regular travel across the region to supervise and coordinate planned works on residential properties. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard, while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise planned maintenance and improvement works on domestic properties (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, windows, external decorations) Oversee direct operatives and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with H&S and quality standards Monitor progress against project timelines and budgets, resolving any issues on-site Conduct site visits, pre- and post-inspections, and ensure works meet specifications Liaise with tenants, clients, surveyors, and internal teams to coordinate and deliver works efficiently Prepare reports and maintain records using company systems Ensure materials and resources are available for operatives on-site Uphold customer care standards and represent the business professionally at all times

Requirements:

Proven experience supervising planned works or major repairs in domestic properties Knowledge of building trades, scheduling, and health & safety regulations Full UK driving licence (essential) Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills IT literate, with experience using job management systems or software SMSTS, SSSTS, or equivalent site supervision qualification (preferred) Asbestos awareness, First Aid, and other relevant H&S training (desirable)
