Are you a detail-oriented Planner looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? We're looking for a proactive Planner to join our Birmingham Highways Maintenance Contract team based in Thimble Mill Lane. In this role you will develop and manage programmes for our Capital Works projects.




Location:

Thimble Mill Lane, Birmingham- site based 5 days per week


Hours:

12-month Fixed Term 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us


Salary:

27,976 - 33,000 per year + excellent benefits

What will you be responsible for?





As a Planner, you'll provide critical planning support to ensure our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.



Your day to day will include:


Creating and maintaining project schedules, allocating resources effectively across multiple projects Tracking progress against milestones and preparing insightful reports for stakeholders Identifying potential scheduling conflicts and developing contingency plans Facilitating communication between planning and delivery teams Ensuring project timelines align with overall programme objectives



What are we looking for?





This role of Planner is great if you:


Have proven experience in highways maintenance and project planning within capital works Are confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable working with project management tools Bring excellent organisational skills and a strong eye for detail Communicate clearly and naturally build strong and effective relationships Enjoy problem-solving and take a proactive approach to risk management
