We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planner to join our supply chain team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and ensuring seamless communication across departments. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production schedules in alignment with customer demands and inventory levels.
Utilise ERP systems such as Oracle to monitor stock levels, order processing, and supply chain activities.
Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Analyse data to forecast future demand and adjust plans accordingly to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve scheduling conflicts or delays promptly.
Maintain accurate records of planning activities and generate reports for management review.
Continuously review and improve planning processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
Proven experience in supply chain planning
Experience in a Planning/Supply Chain role
An understanding of the end-to-end Supply Chain
Ability to demonstrate strong performance in a high visibility role
Ability to adapt to ambiguous fast changing environment
Experience of expediting role within short lead time environment
Ability to communicate with all levels of management
Strong proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Oracle.
Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and production scheduling.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Effective communication skills to liaise across multiple departments and external partners.
Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
