Established in 2022, Navantia UK is a subsidiary of Navantia SA, a Spanish state-owned company with over 300 years of naval shipbuilding history.


In January 2025, Navantia UK completed the acquisition of Harland & Wolff and its four historic facilities in Belfast, Appledore, Methil, and Arnish.

The purpose of this rolewill be to manage the scheduling, resourcing, and performance of project plans for operations. This will involve driving Production Operations by monitoring, reporting, and challenging performance and driving corrective recovery actions when behind schedule. Establish and balance workloads to discharge the demand within available capacity and ensure we meet our customer commitments.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive plans to achieve organizational goals. Coordinate schedules and timelines for projects, meetings, and events. Analyse data and trends to forecast future needs and resource requirements. Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment and effective communication. Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure objectives are met. Evaluate performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to planning activities. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in planning and scheduling.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Planner or in a similar role. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively. Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented and proactive approach to work.
