Project Planner (P6)

Contract:

Full-time, 40 hours per week (8am - 5pm)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Planner with a strong background in Primavera P6 to join our team in Warrington. You'll be part of a well-established national infrastructure business that has recently rebranded and is delivering some of the UK's most important water and energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage comprehensive project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocations. Analyse project requirements and create detailed work breakdown structures. Identify potential risks and propose effective mitigation strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture project requirements and agree timescales. Produce tender stage and live project programmes using Primavera P6. Conduct resource forecasting and optimisation to maximise project efficiency. Support budget development and cost estimation. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across planning processes.

Qualifications & Experience

1

0+ years' experience in project planning within pipelines, oil & gas, construction, or utilities. Strong knowledge of the NEC form of contract. Solid expertise in Primavera P6; MS Project experience also beneficial. Proven ability to develop and manage complex project schedules. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Strong understanding of project methodologies, construction techniques, and resource allocation principles.
