Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Planner/Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimising our operational processes, ensuring that all planning and scheduling activities align with internal and external customer operational goals. A team player with a strong understanding of MS packages and job management systems. Familiarity with MS Outlook, Excel, Word are essential with Simpro and Nexus highly desirable.

Responsibilities



Answering telephone and general office duties. Log and respond to customer job requests/enquiries. Contact tenants/customers to book engineers appointments by telephone and letter, assisting with the preparation and issue of the letter runs. Manage Engineers diaries/issue daily running sheets detailing jobs to attend. Update job management systems/excel spreadsheets with job status, completed, abort or reschedule. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials. Prepare reports on scheduling performance and present findings to management for continuous improvement. Proven experience in planning or scheduling with minimum 5+ years experience. It would be advantageous if you had previous experience of planning within a social housing environment. Strong communication skills with a professional manner working in a team environment. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with customers and RES team.
