Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and long-term schedules for drainage and utility service jobs.
Coordinate with supervisors, field teams, and clients to confirm job requirements and timelines.
Allocate appropriate personnel, vehicles, and equipment to each task.
Monitor real-time job progress and update schedules as needed to manage delays or emergencies.
Communicate schedule changes clearly and promptly to all stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of work orders, time logs, and resource usage.
Optimise route planning and job sequencing to minimise downtime and travel.
Support reporting on project timelines, resource utilisation, and operational KPIs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in all planning activities.
Qualifications and Skills
Proven experience as a Planner, Scheduler, or Coordinator in utilities, drainage, construction, or a similar field.
Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficient in scheduling tools and software (e.g., MS Excel, job management platforms).
Strong communication skills -- able to liaise effectively with internal teams and clients.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Knowledge of health & safety practices in field operations is a plus.
