We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Planning team in the position of Planning Coordinator.



Contract Type:

Fixed Term (6-12 months with the potential to extend)

Hours:

25 hours per week Monday to Friday (09:30-14:30)

Measham Redbank



The Planning Co-ordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Traffic Manager in the day-to-day operations at the Redbank site. This position ensures the smooth and accurate flow of goods by handling essential tasks such as labelling, documentation, stock monitoring, and coordination with yard teams and transport carriers. By assisting with both routine and evolving responsibilities--including dispatch accuracy, system updates, and rollout of new delivery processes--the coordinator strengthens operational resilience and contributes directly to customer fulfilment and site efficiency.



Your duties would include but not limited to the following:



Apply labels and delivery notes to pallets on-site. Print pick slips and delivery notes for customer orders. Coordinate with the yard team to record pallet counts and locations. Build orders in the system and upload load details to the transport carrier's website. Monitor stock levels and manage order holds due to shortages. Support the upload of Cradley orders to the carrier website. Assist with the rollout and coordination of brick slip deliveries from Accrington and Measham. Input data accurately and efficiently Act as the first point of contact for sales enquiries. Resolve customer queries and respond to enquiries Manage problems in a calm professional manner Deliver a professional service to our customer base

About You:



Strong computer literacy and skills (knowledge of Microsoft Excel, word and Outlook) Ability to prioritise and make decisions, as well as problem solve Good communicator and team player at all levels Geographical knowledge Flexible, positive, proactive and committed approach to meet work demand Knowledge of transport legislation Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage physical tasks on-site. Comfortable using logistics and order management systems. Effective communication with yard teams and transport carriers. Flexibility to adapt to evolving responsibilities and product lines. Good Numeracy and literacy Skills Understanding of Working Time Directive
