Position Overview



We are seeking a skilled

P6 Planning Engineer

to oversee project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring using

Primavera P6

. The ideal candidate will have expertise in project controls, resource management, and risk assessment to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Scheduling



Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using

Primavera P6

. Establish work breakdown structures (

WBS

) and sequencing of activities for efficient execution. Define project milestones, deliverables, and critical path analysis (

CPM

).

Progress Monitoring & Reporting



Track project progress against the baseline schedule and provide variance analysis. Prepare

weekly/monthly reports

on project status, including S-curves and earned value analysis (

EVA

). Identify schedule slippages and recommend corrective actions to mitigate delays.

Resource & Cost Management



Allocate resources (manpower, equipment, materials) effectively to optimize efficiency. Integrate cost control measures with the schedule and monitor project budgets. Coordinate with procurement teams to align material delivery schedules with project needs.

Risk Management & Mitigation



Identify potential scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct

what-if analysis

to assess project scenarios and recommend adjustments. Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project deadlines.

Coordination & Communication



Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to align schedules. Attend progress meetings and provide schedule updates to stakeholders. Ensure seamless communication between different departments for effective project execution

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field Proficiency in construction and system design Familiarity with project management tools, particularly Primavera and Primavera P6 Ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
