We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Plan Manager to oversee and optimise supply chain planning processes within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, managing inventory levels, and ensuring seamless integration across various enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP and Oracle. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in supply chain management and ERP systems to contribute to operational efficiency and strategic planning.
Duties
Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive production plans aligned with organisational objectives.
Utilise ERP systems including SAP and Oracle to analyse data, forecast demand, and optimise inventory levels.
Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Analyse supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of planning activities and generate reports for senior management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adapt plans in response to changing market conditions or unforeseen disruptions.
Ensure compliance with organisational policies, safety standards, and industry regulations related to supply chain operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in supply chain management or planning roles, preferably within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
Strong proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle; familiarity with other ERP platforms is advantageous.
In-depth understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and demand forecasting.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Effective communication skills to liaise across departments and present complex information clearly.
