Planning Solicitor NQ - 5 PQE - Exeter
We are thrilled to partner with a prestigious firm in their search for a planning law solicitor to join their esteemed planning law team in Exeter.
The successful candidate will join a planning team renowned for its excellent relationships with both public and private sector clients. This team handles a diverse range of both contentious and non-contentious planning matters, including but not limited to, planning obligations, highways and infrastructure, to contentious planning matters such as enforcement and judicial reviews.
You'll be part of a growing team with a strong pipeline of work and the opportunity to shape the future of our planning offering across the UK. Expect to work on high-profile schemes including large-scale housing developments, energy infrastructure, and landmark relocations.
What you'll do:

Advise on complex planning applications and strategy
Draft and negotiate Section 106 and 278 agreements
Support major development schemes across housing, waste and energy
Act on CPO matters, enforcement and public inquiries
Deliver planning due diligence for corporate and real estate deals
Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development

Candidates should have solid experience in planning law, ideally gained within a strong planning team. If you have a background in Local Authority and are seeking to transition into private practice, this could be a perfect opportunity. Due to growth our client welcome applications from NQ - 5 PQE.
