Provide administrative and customer service support to the Development Management Team and Enforcement Team.
Assist applicants and agents through the planning process by providing basic planning information and writing relevant correspondence.
Support planners in receiving and validating planning applications, including handling application forms, fees, and site plotting.
Conduct monitoring, research, and investigations to support planning decisions and enforcement.
Offer practical advice to businesses in Stoke-on-Trent regarding planning and other Council services.
Generate and manage various letters and reports within legal deadlines.
Record technical minutes of planning meetings and monitor actions.
Manage planning application site notices throughout the town.
Prepare for Development Management Committee meetings and internal planning application assessment panels.
Verify compliance with planning conditions and approvals.
Support the processing of FOI and Councillor enquiries.
Respond to personal search requests and maintain email communication within deadlines.
Maintain office coverage during operational hours.
Perform tasks as assigned by the senior management team.
Record and manage actions and information on planning computer systems.
Collaborate with colleagues to manage the Development Management Team's work and performance.
Update and present statistical information from ICT systems.
