Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Plant Fitter to join our team and maintain our fleet of a wide range of construction plant and equipment including mini excavators, 3cxs, telehandlers, dumpers, lighting towers etc.

NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance is preferable but not essential. Training can be provided for the right candidate.

Full UK Driving License is required.

We are a family run company with a range of machinery that we repair, maintain, service and inspect.

The role will be varied and interesting with duties including:

Help with the growth of our external plant repairs and service department Attending customer sites to fix any malfunctioning plant Carry out servicing and general repairs Finding and diagnosing faults Carry out inspections and maintenance checks Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations Looking for a candidate who is happy to work alone and within a small team Following safety and housekeeping standards in your area of work both in our workshop and at customer sites. Logging and keeping record of works carried out and completing daily job sheets

Salary:

Competitive and negotiable dependent on qualifications and experience.

Company van will be supplied.

You will be based at our workshop in Birmingham B8 (with site travel as required).
