Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our fleet of plant and tools. Mainly based in our workshop but travel to customers' sites will also be required so a full drivers licence is essential. A salary of up to 45000 p.a. dependent on experience is offered for this post. Hours of work are 7.30 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. Immediate start available.
Duties
Maintenance and repair of our fleet - from excavators and dumpers to drills, saws etc Check all items after each hire and repair/service if required Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations Document work performed and report any issues
Requirements
Proven experience as a Fitter on construction machinery or in a similar role Proficient at diagnosing faults Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a workshop environment is advantageous. Relevant qualifications or certifications in fitting or engineering are preferred
