Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at Armstrong Aggregates Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment used in our quarry operations. Your expertise will contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality stone materials while ensuring operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Assemble and install machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications. Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on quarry equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient operations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. Follow health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a heavy plant fitter or in a similar mechanical role. Strong understanding of machinery assembly and maintenance procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication skills to work effectively within a team.

Pay: 20,000.00-24,000.00 per year
