Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plant Fitter to join our team covering the South East Wales area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair and servicing of a variety of construction equipment and commercial vehicles both on site and in our workshop in Newport

Experience of Welding as well as aspects of HGV maintenance and periodic inspection an advantage but not necessary.

Successful candidate will be responsible for:

Maintenance and fitting duties on a range of plant items such as excavators, dumpers, rollers and small plant and tools. Periodic safety inspections on equipment Attend breakdowns on site Accurately completing records of maintenance and repair activities Maintaining a safe and tidy workplace and general housekeeping of workshop
Key Skills:

To be motivated, work on own initiative and independently Demonstrate relevant training and experience Experience of fault finding and maintenance and repairs to heavy duty construction plant and commercial vehicles Good communication skills Driving Licence
Competitive salary depending on experience, company van with fuel included, full time permanent position, minimum 45 hours working week Mon - Fri with option for overtime

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 24,420.00-35,000.00 per year
