We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various components and systems in accordance with technical specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine assembly requirements
Assemble and install mechanical components, ensuring precision and quality standards are met
Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the fitting process
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Requirements
Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineering sector
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, tools, and equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in an industrial setting
