Maintain and repair plant equipment in line with manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
Plan and prioritise tasks based on weekly and long-term schedules, ensuring parts and materials are ordered in advance.
Promote safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency.
Contribute to workshop strategy, innovation, and technology adoption.
Drive personal development to gain specialist plant knowledge.
Follow maintenance and repair procedures, RAMS, and task sheets.
Use company tools and systems (AMS, safety culture, video) for reporting and record keeping.
Manage stock levels and collaborate with supervisors and store personnel as and when required.
Maintain tidy work areas and report any damage promptly.
Work towards team KPIs and goals.
Key Skills
Experience in plant fitting within a construction environment.
Competent in fault finding, repair, and maintenance of heavy plant.
Ability to read maintenance drawings and manuals, and order parts.
Strong teamwork and communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of maintenance procedures and inspection recording.
Ability to rig and de-rig all types of rigs in the fleet.
Qualifications
CSCS card for plant & maintenance (min level 2) blue card
IPAF.
Knowledge of piling plant (can be gained on the job).
Qualifications & other Requirements
Ability to use gantry crane; forklift and a CPCS slinger signaller card would be advantageous.
Full driver's license
