Job Description

We are looking for 2/3 mechanical technicians with a background of working with heavy plant machinery. This role would involve you working on heavy duty plant equipment and large transport vehicles such as LGV's. Coming from a heavy plant background you would be workshop based or working remotely and you will need to have a flexible attitude to working hours.

Due to the nature of this market, you will be asked to work on a call out rota for emergency situations. We are looking for someone with at least 10 years' experience in a similar role and you may be asked to work independently of the small team already in place.

Standard hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm

A basic salary of 36,000 per annum is offered with a substantial increase after the completion of 6 months' successful employment. Our client is a very successful engineering business which prides itself on retaining staff.

This is a long-term opportunity for the right person (contract/ eventually permanent)
