We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled

Plant Maintenance Manager

As our Plant Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment and machinery is well-maintained, reliable, and operating at optimal efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Planning:

Develop and implement a proactive maintenance schedule for all plant and machinery to reduce downtime and ensure operational efficiency.

Team Management:

Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and equipped to carry out tasks efficiently.

Repairs & Troubleshooting:

Oversee repairs and troubleshooting of plant and machinery, ensuring any issues are resolved swiftly and effectively.

Health & Safety:

Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for the team.

Budget Management:

Manage maintenance budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and expenditures are within the allocated limits.

Reporting & Compliance:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with legal and industry regulations. Provide regular reports to senior management on machinery performance, downtime, and maintenance progress.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement in plant and machinery performance, implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Plant & Machinery Maintenance Manager or in a similar role, with a strong background in maintenance management. Excellent mechanical understanding of plant and machinery, with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues effectively. Technical expertise in both mechanical and electrical systems related to plant machinery. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Experience working with Tier 1 contractors and a clear understanding of large-scale project requirements and timelines. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Good communication skills and the ability to report to senior management. Relevant qualifications in engineering, maintenance, or a related field are desirable.
