About the role

We're hiring plant operators for either machine: a wheeled loading shovel or a 360 excavator. Dual-ticket operators are welcome, but single-ticket applicants are absolutely encouraged -- we're happy to hire separately for each machine and can upskill the right person over time.

What you'll do

Operate a loading shovel or360 excavator (depending on your ticket/experience) to: Load walking-floor/artic trailers and hoppers Stockpile, push-up and segregate materials Keep bays, traffic routes and the yard tidy; support housekeeping Complete daily pre-use checks; log defects; basic greasing/maintenance assists Follow banksman/exclusion-zone rules, reversing and hot-load procedures Communicate by radio with weighbridge/transport to hit turnaround targets Pitch in across the yard when needed

What you'll need

Valid ticket for Wheeled Loading Shovel or 360 Excavator (we consider below/above 10t) Proven experience on your ticketed machine (transfer station/MRF experience ideal) Strong safety awareness around pedestrians, vehicles and plant Able to keep accurate records (checks/defects) and follow instructions under time pressure Right to work in the UK and reliable commute to Carryduff

Nice to have

Second plant ticket (we'll support training if you want to add it) Experience loading walking floors; banksman/marshalling, First Aid, Fire Warden, Manual Handling Telehandler or forklift
