We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Plant Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation of a
Loading Shovel
(and or) a
360 Material Grab Handler,
for a minimum of 3 months.Whilst this role is initially temporary, there is every possibility of a permanent role for a reliable and skilled operator.
Responsibilities and Requirements
NPORS accredited or equivalent
To work as part of a team operating within a waste management environment, which may include landfill sites, transfer stations, composting sites and recycling centres; and be responsible for the operation of an allocated item of plant.
Paid as per the council band - top of FC4 SCP 13 (14.43ph)
Other tickets and experience advantages ie, telehandler,forklift,dumptruck,360 excavator.
Overtime optional.
Based at Lochhead Wellwood but can consider Lower Melville Wood Ladybank.
Min 3 month Contract (End of September) initially.
Minimum 1 year experience in loading vehicles and moving materials as per the attached role profile
Shift Pattern
Week 1:
Sat / Sun / Mon / Thu / Fri (07:00 - 18:00) = 51 hours
Week 2:
Tue / Wed (07:00 - 18:00) = 21 hours
