We are seeking a dedicated plantroom operative to join our team. This role involves supporting production operations through various hands-on tasks, ensuring efficient organisation and handling of raw materials. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and experience with tools, fabrication, and assembly processes. Responsibilities

Assist in the organisation and management of stock within the backroom area Utilise hand tools, power tools, for assembly and repair tasks Perform heavy lifting to move materials and products safely and efficiently Support production operations Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes

Requirements

Proven experience in food and production environments or related roles is preferred Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, CIP systems. Skills in fabrication and assembly processes are advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Prior experience with food production and warehouse organisation Physical fitness to handle manual tasks throughout shifts A proactive attitude with good communication skills

Pay: 14.00-20.00 per hour
