We're on the lookout for a

Plant Supervisor

to join our Holcim UK team. Based at our Aston concrete production facility, this is your chance to take ownership of daily site operations--ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and to the highest standards. You'll lead by example, driving performance and quality, and supporting your team to deliver for our customers every day.

What You'll Be Doing



Leading day-to-day site operations, including coordinating production and dispatch to meet customer demand. Supporting the Plant Manager--and taking full responsibility for the site in their absence. Completing and reviewing

Risk Assessments and Method Statements

, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and contractors. Delivering site inductions,

interactive safety tours

, and toolbox talks to maintain our industry-leading safety culture. Ensuring site operations meet environmental and quality standards, including ISO9001 & 14001 compliance. Playing a hands-on role in plant activities, including batching, operating fixed and mobile plant, and supervising material loading. Supporting the

Site Improvement Plan

, continuously finding ways to improve performance and efficiency. Maintaining site records, reporting incidents and near misses, and ensuring all actions are completed to company standards. Coaching and supporting your team to achieve their best through training and leadership.

Who You Are



A confident and motivated leader with a passion for safety and team development. Experienced in

concrete, construction, or manufacturing environments

, ideally in a supervisory or team lead role. Comfortable operating plant machinery including batching systems and loading shovels (training provided if required). Great at staying organised and prioritising tasks under pressure. Knowledgeable about

quality plans, compliance standards

, and risk management. A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with staff, customers, and stakeholders.
