About us -

Rent-it Plant Hire are an independent, fast growing plant and tool hire company in Bridgend, with a strong focus on customer service and reliability. As our business grows, we are seeking a dynamic Depot Manager to lead our depot operations, drive performance, and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.

The Role -

As Depot Manager, you'll be the go to person - answering phones, booking out equipment, coordinating deliveries, and keeping the branch organised. You'll need to be hands-on, friendly, and a natural multitasker, with a good knowledge of plant machinery and tools.

Key Responsibilities -

Managing incoming calls and customer enquiries in a friendly, professional manner Take bookings, organising tool and equipment hire Coordinating deliveries Overseeing the day to day running of the branch Supporting walk in customers with hire enquiries and returns Working closely with the director and drivers to ensure smooth operations Handling admin tasks such as paperwork, schedules, and hire agreements Keeping the branch organised, tidy, and well-stocked
What We're Looking For -

Experience in plant and tool hire Confident on the phone and face to face dealing with customers Strong organisational skills A hands on approach Comfortable using basic computer systems Positive attitude and strong work ethic Applicants should be comfortable with regular manual tasks, including lifting, carrying, and handling equipment. You'll need to be physically capable of moving heavy items safely and prepared to get stuck in with practical work as well as office duties
