Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plastering techniques and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This role involves applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth finish, and preparing surfaces for painting or other finishes. A successful Plasterer will have a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret schematics and plans accurately.basing and meshing render jobs.

Responsibilities

Apply plaster to various surfaces, including walls and ceilings, ensuring an even and smooth finish. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents as necessary. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the application of plaster. Conduct repairs on existing plasterwork, including patching holes and cracks. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required standards.

Skills

Basing and meshing render jobs

Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, floats, and scrapers as well as power tools for plaster application. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other tradespeople.

Job Types: Full-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 15.07-20.00 per hour
