Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality finishes in all plastering projects. This role requires proficiency in various plastering techniques and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on site.

Duties

Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to create a smooth finish. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents as necessary. Use hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve desired results. Conduct repairs on existing plasterwork, including patching and re-surfacing as required. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the installation of fixtures that may require plastering around them, such as cornices or ceiling roses.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment. Strong understanding of different plastering materials and their appropriate applications. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Good physical fitness as the role requires lifting and standing for extended periods.
