Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related trades, demonstrating proficiency in using hand and power tools. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The successful applicant will be detail-oriented, capable of working independently or as part of a team, and committed to delivering excellent craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning and applying bonding agents as necessary. Mix plaster materials according to specifications for optimal consistency and application. Apply plaster to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using appropriate techniques to achieve a smooth finish. Repair damaged plasterwork, including filling cracks and holes to restore surfaces. T&J on new plasterboard walls Collaborate with other tradespeople, including bricklayers, carpenters, and welders, to ensure seamless project execution. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Keep work areas tidy and organised throughout the duration of projects.

Experience

Proven experience as a Plasterer or in a similar role within the construction industry is essential. Familiarity with masonry techniques is advantageous. Experience in bricklaying or roofing is considered a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plastering tasks is required. A strong understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction environment is necessary.
